“The location of The Orchards is ideal, as we’re far enough out of the town centre that it’s not too busy but still close enough for when we need something. We’re also in the catchment area for good schools and the A46 bypass is nearby so we have easy access to other towns in the surrounding areas.
“The idea of a new-build property really appealed to us as everything looks modern and the work has all been done for you, so it’s convenient.
“We really liked the style and space of the three-bedroom ‘Flatford’. The downstairs layout is really nice – we have a separate kitchen and a large living room which is lovely as it overlooks the back garden.
“The Help to Buy scheme was absolutely fantastic. We would have really struggled to purchase our property without it so it’s made a massive difference to the type of house that we’ve been able to go for.
“We were really happy with the Taylor Wimpey staff and how it all went – the process was really easy and they recommended a great mortgage provider, which was brilliant.”
