Laura gets Help to Buy at Diglis Water

Date: Thursday 08 May 2014

“My apartment’s brilliant. There’s so much space – it’s much bigger than the place I was renting – and I have the luxury of a balcony overlooking the park here at Diglis Water.

Without Help to Buy I just wouldn’t have been able to stretch to something as amazing as this.

I popped over to the development on a Saturday, spoke to an independent financial advisor about my eligibility for Help to Buy, and that very same evening I was informed I could use the scheme.

I went back the next day and put a 5% deposit down on my apartment and within six weeks I had moved in – it was such a smooth process and I was guided through it all the way by Taylor Wimpey. I was surprised at how easy it all was!

Diglis Water is such a pretty place to live, with the marina full of narrow boats, and the setting on the water is perfect.

I’ve joined the on-site gym, which is really good and has all the equipment you need, plus it takes me less than 10 minutes to walk into the city centre.

“There are so many shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and cafes in Worcester, and they are all within walking distance of home. I’m so glad I moved here.”
