“We weren’t necessarily looking for a new build but Adam sent me a link about Lockside Walk and we went along to view the showhome and really liked what we saw.
“We loved the layout of our property the minute we walked in – the house felt really open, the living/dining room was fantastic and it’s lovely to be able to fit a couple of settees in there. We can also get plenty of furniture into all the bedrooms and we have a nice-sized garden too.
“It was a really good-sized house as well as being affordable, so we knew it was right for us. It was also nice knowing we could move straight in without having to do any work to it!
“It’s lovely to open the curtains in the morning and see the ducks and geese on the canal as our house looks right on to that. We also get plenty of sun in the garden and it’s great being able to open the patio doors and let the air in.
“We’ve found Lockside Walk a really nice development to live on – Charlotte from Taylor Wimpey introduced us to our neighbours and we’ve found it a really nice and friendly community.
“There’s a chip shop within walking distance and an Asda on the doorstep too, while Merry Hill shopping centre is just a five-minute drive away.
“We both work in Kingswinford, about three miles away, so we have an easy commute from our new home which is really nice as well.”
