“When we decided to buy a home we were looking around and when we visited Oakbrook we really liked the development and the surrounding area – it’s a good location and offers easy access to London, which is great as we travel there quite frequently.
“The journey now takes around 45 minutes in total, which includes travelling to the train station from our house. Bletchley train station provides regular services to London Euston, and it’s actually quicker to get to central London from our new house than it was when we lived in the area!
“The house is such great value and it’s really big! It’s perfect for our family as there’s a lot of space and all of the bedrooms are big enough to fit a double bed, plus we have a really large garden too, which is great for the children.
“From the outside the property looks really nice as well and the roads and surrounding grounds and environment are well maintained. I look at our home now and I think we made the right choice to move to Taylor Wimpey’s Oakbrook development.
“My view is that the development will meet the needs of all types of buyers; from families looking to upgrade to larger homes with gardens, to first-time buyers and those seeking to enjoy the countryside and beautiful scenery Oakbrook offers.
“What I also like about Oakbrook is that I can go and have a crazy working day in London and when I come back I can relax and enjoy the privacy and tranquillity that Oakbrook provides. We love the house and the open space that the development offers.
“Using Help to Buy was a really easy process. We submitted our application on the Friday and by the Monday we had received a response to say we were accepted.
“Taylor Wimpey were really helpful and their properties seemed really good compared to the other developers which we looked at to begin with.
“We’re really enjoying it here – the overall development is really good and also features a lot of nice walk paths, which is great for me as I have kids that are always on the go and enjoy scenic walks.”
