My husband and I were living in South Croydon when we spied Taylor Wimpey’s Golwg Y Coed not long after the development had opened, and even though we really liked the look of it, we simply weren’t in a position to move at the time. We even had our eye on a particular plot which we felt was absolutely perfect, but it was in such a prime location that we never expected it to still be available by the time we were ready to buy.
So when we eventually sold our old home some time later and discovered that the exact plot we'd been looking at had only recently been released for sale, we couldn't believe our luck. The timing couldn’t have been better!
We're so pleased with our home and we're really enjoying settling into our new surroundings. The houses here are very attractive and you can tell that great care and attention has gone into the design and construction of the development. We've been fortunate enough to be able to purchase a plot that's right next to protected woodland, and the property has been designed very sympathetically so it feels like we’re right in the middle of it.
The location of our new home is fantastic – we're in a lovely semi-rural area just a few minutes away from the beaches, and we have easy access to the centre of Cardiff as well. One of the reasons we wanted to come back here was because our children live in the area, and it's wonderful to be so close to them again.
The staff in the sales office have been absolutely marvellous – we couldn’t have asked for a better experience of purchasing a new home. The whole process has been completely positive in every way and the team at Golwg Y Coed have always been very supportive, very courteous and very helpful. I would give every one of them an A-plus!”
