NEWS - MAN - Testimonial newlyweds

For Risha and Mohan Hathi, 2018 has been full of firsts as the newlyweds who married earlier in the year moved into their first home together in June. Mohan explains: “It’s been a fantastic year for us so far. We knew that we wanted to move in together soon after the wedding, but wanted to make sure we didn’t rush into it and took the time to find our perfect home.”

Risha and Mohan were impressed with the choice of homes available at Booth Hall, in Blackley and after finding out their perfect plot was available, the couple wasted no time in securing their dream home.

Risha adds: “On our first visit to the development we fell in love with the four-bedroom detached Bradenham and we knew that’s where we wanted to start our married life together. A few days later we received a call from the sales team saying it was available.

“It made complete sense to us to live in Manchester. We both studied here and knew we wanted to raise a family here. Manchester has a fantastic spirit and we wanted to continue to be part of it.

“Lots of our friends chose to move into apartments temporarily, however, we wanted to find our forever home straight away. The Booth Hall development was perfect because it gave us the space we needed, while remaining close enough to the city centre.”

Risha and Mohan utilised the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, which allowed them to purchase their dream home sooner than they thought. The scheme helps first-time buyers get onto the property market using just a five per cent deposit.

“Getting married and moving to a new house can be very costly, especially when doing both at the same time, but using Help to Buy meant we didn’t have to worry about saving for a large deposit,” added Mohan.

“The sales team were always on hand to help with any queries, which made the process so easy and stress free. Now we can relax and look forward to making memories in our new home,” concludes Mohan.
