“We were living in a three-bedroom property dating back to 1929 which we had already spent rather a lot of money extending and refurbishing over the years. In fact, we were already planning the next refurbishment project and were not necessarily looking to move.

“But then we saw Taylor Wimpey’s Tongham Copse development and could really visualise our family making a home there. That was how it felt with our first house, and we had the same comfortable feeling with this one. The major difference this time, though, was having so much more space and a blank canvas for us to design as we saw fit.

“We used the Part Exchange scheme and it couldn’t have been easier. The staff at Taylor Wimpey really delivered all the way through. There was no ‘hard-sell’ up front, and they kept us informed throughout the process. Even after moving in, they were still impressing us. There were several follow-up calls to check we were happy with everything – the Site Manager even changed one of the lights in our bathroom after the bulb went!

“One big advantage is all the extra space we have now. We have always enjoyed nice furniture and now we have the room to really give it some space. It was difficult to house it properly earlier, so we had to compromise.”
