“We really wanted a new build because our last three houses have all been older properties that needed a lot of work. This time we wanted a home that we could just move straight into and know everything was already done which is exactly what we’ve got with the ‘Oakham’ at Mantell Park.

“The ‘Oakham’ ticks all the boxes for us – we love the whole design. It looks really nice from the outside and all of the rooms are great sizes. We’re really pleased!

“Our favourite part of the house is the lounge/dining room because we have a glass roof above our dining table which lets so much light in – it’s lovely.

“We still wanted four bedrooms because one day we hope to have grandchildren and we will need the extra room so that they can come and stay! I’ve also converted one of the bedrooms into an office as I work from home twice a week.

“Carol and I really enjoy going on long walks so it’s great to be living in the countryside. The transport links from Mantell Park are fantastic as well. The main train station in Haywards Heath is only a short bus journey away which is perfect for me because I work in London three days a week.

“All in all we are really pleased with everything about our new home and Taylor Wimpey have been brilliant throughout the whole process.

“Everyone has been so helpful and to top it off Taylor Wimpey paid for our stamp duty too which was a bonus because on a property of this value that can be quite a big expense!”
