When Hannah Davis and Matt Haughian decided it was time to move on from their 1930’s semi detached house in Wilmington, they found everything they were looking for at our Halden Field development in Rolvenden.

The couple and their two young children, Holly (3) and Joshua (1), moved into their five bedroom Chilham home in May 2020 and are now settling into life at the development. Commenting on their move, Hannah said: “After living in an old property which needed a lot of work, we decided it was time to move to a new build so we could spend more quality time with family.”

The decision to move to Halden Field was an easy one for the family who found its location ideally suited to their needs. Commenting on why they chose Halden Field, Hannah said: “We wanted to be closer to our extended family and Halden Field is perfectly sized for Holly and Joshua to grow up in”

The couple decided the five bedroom Chilham house type was the perfect place to call home. Matt said: “The layout of the Chilham is what sold it for us. We wanted a lot of space for our family to relax in so the open plan kitchen and dining area is ideal. Having two garages and double entry to the home makes us feel safe and secure and means there is plenty of space for visitors to park.”

Hannah said: “The sales team made our moving experience very personal and we never felt pressured to buy. They went above and beyond to help and kept us in the loop throughout the process. The restrictions that were put in place when we moved worked in our favour as it meant we could settle into the house and make it our own before our friends and family could visit. Everyone has been very welcoming and that has made it even easier to settle in.”
