First time buyers, Louise Minchin, 25 and Jack Lawton, 23 recently made a major life decision to buy their very first home together after getting engaged in March. With help from the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, the couple were able to secure the three-bedroom Wardbury at our Autumn Heights development in Telford with just a 5% deposit.
Louise and Jack moved into their Wardbury home in November 2019 and are now getting used to life as homeowners whilst preparing plans to get married in 2021. Louise said:
“As soon as we walked into the Wardbury house type at Autumn Heights, we instantly fell in love with the property, from the features in the home to its overall layout, we struggled to find a single fault. We'd looked around several developments from different homebuilders but the quality wasn't up to the same standard as Taylor Wimpey's homes.”
The layout of the Wardbury housetype, which is a three-storey home, offers flexible living for buyers looking to enjoy their own space whilst also providing the opportunity to entertain guests. Louise added:
“One of the main features of the house that stood out to me was the view from the top floor as it makes you feel as though you’re on your very own private viewing platform. It’s also completely open-plan which makes it feel very spacious.”
Autumn Heights is well-connected to the town of Telford which provides a range of local amenities including shops and entertainment facilities.
Jack, Louise’s partner, continues: “Not only do we love our home, but we also love the development itself and where Autumn Heights is situated. Telford town centre is just under three miles from home, giving me and Louise a wide selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars to choose from and enjoy.”
