Our South Thames is continuing its support of Crawley Open House, a charity dedicated to helping homeless and disadvantaged people in and around West Sussex.
We have been championing the vital work of Crawley Open House for over four years and recently took part in the charity’s FootGolf event to help raise much needed funds. As well as entering two teams into the event, we donated a variety of items for a raffle which helped to raise £600.
Crawley Open House is one of many local charities appealing for donations to help them to continue to provide their valuable services to those in need during challenging times. Further information about the charity and how to make a donation can be found on their website.
John McEntee, Production Manager at Taylor Wimpey South Thames said: “Crawley Open House is a brilliant local charity. They do amazing work in supporting homeless and vulnerable people and we are proud to have played a small part in supporting them. The recent FootGolf event is the latest example of the creative ways in which the charity is able to fundraise and it was a brilliant day.”
Ian Wilkins, Fundraising and Relationships Manager at Crawley Open House, said: “We are very grateful to the team at Taylor Wimpey for attending our fundraising footgolf tournament and for their long standing support of the charity. We can only continue our work amongst the homeless and vulnerable locally because of such great corporate and community support. I’d like to say a huge thank you on behalf of all those who rely on our services.”
