Rachel and James Wyatt were excited to join the new community at our Herdwick Fold development, as they became the first residents to move onto the site in Shipston-on-Stour.

After getting married last year, the couple decided to sell their first home together and take a step up the property ladder and move into a home with more space to start a family. Rachel and James were drawn to the Part Exchange scheme as this eased the pressure of selling their existing property and buying a new home.

The couple visited several other new developments in the area, however, they were instantly drawn to the Keydale Special home when they visited Herdwick Fold.

Rachel said: “The whole process was really easy and the lovely ladies in the sales office kept us updated throughout the whole buying process. We knew we wanted a Keydale Special and as they were so popular we missed out on a few plots, but the sales team were determined to help us find our dream home.”

James added: “We were looking for certain criteria such as a garage, en-suite bathroom, downstairs toilet and extra bedrooms and the Keydale Special had all of our requirements and more. Our favourite room in the house is the kitchen/diner/utility, as the space is very generous and is perfect for family meals and entertaining guests.”

As Rachel and James are the first to join the new community at Herdwick Fold they will have the opportunity to see the development grow.

Rachel said: “We were really impressed when we first saw the development plan. For a new build estate, you don’t feel that the houses are too close or crammed in and the roads and paths provide everyone with plenty of room.”
