“As soon as I found out about Woodlands, I knew I wanted to live there. It’s in Boxmoor, which is often referred to as Boxmoor village, and it does have that really nice village feel to it.
“It’s one of the nicest areas in the town, with some great bars and pubs, and is only a 10-minute walk to the railway station and town centre. “A major attraction for me is the fact Woodlands is on the doorstep of the canal, which is great for walking and cycling. Within 10 minutes of getting home after work, I can be changed and on the towpath, enjoying the outdoor life.
“I’m also relishing the fact I have no DIY to do in my new home. Having bought an ex-rental flat some years ago, and spending eight weeks stripping it out and doing it up, I know it’s something I don’t particularly want to do again!”
