Maria Capua (34), an Investment Banking Analyst, and her partner Filipe Figueira Da Silva (28), a Butcher, moved into their new Taylor Wimpey home in June 2024.
Not wanting to spend further time and money refurbishing an older property, Maria opted to purchase a new-build home due to its convenience. Having previously rented a two bedroom flat in Bournemouth Town Centre, Maria wanted to move to a quieter area and Canford Vale suited this perfectly. She said: “I have friends who bought a property in a development nearby and we’d seen a lot of publicity around Taylor Wimpey, so we were very interested.”
Maria’s chosen house type was the three bedroom Brambleford, which features an open plan ground floor area with a spacious living room and hallway. The kitchen and dining area overlooks the garden and a separate utility/cloakroom makes for a handy area to keep the washing out of the way. “Our chosen plot is south-facing and it’s very important for us to have a sunny garden. On top of this, the property’s garden is a really nice size and I love how the kitchen connects with it. We have plenty of space with two parking spaces and three bedrooms.”
When asked what the sales process with Taylor Wimpey was like, Maria said: “The purchasing process was easier than I thought it would be. Everything went really smoothly and the sales team were always on top of everything we needed and wanted.”
Now that Filipe and Maria are settled into their new home, Maria shared the things they love most about their new property: “I love how quiet the area is and there’s a lot of green spaces. All the shops we need are just around the corner and we’re also a short drive away from our jobs. The area has very nice connections with Poole and Bournemouth Town Centre too.”
