We helped keep pupils at Codicote Primary School well-supplied and well-fed through two donations.We donated £200 to the school for some additional stationery supplies for the school new year, which included glue sticks, felt pens and colouring pencils. This followed a donation of fruit baskets for all pupils to promote healthier eating and to help pupils meet their five-a-day.
Liz Pollard, Headteacher at Codicote Primary School, said: “The children have been adding colour to their classwork using the stationery gifted to us by Taylor Wimpey. We are grateful to the team at Taylor Wimpey for arranging this for us and for also donating the fruit baskets.”
Paresh Pandya, Senior Sales and Marketing Manager at Taylor Wimpey North Thames, said: “We’re pleased to have supported Codicote Primary School by donating towards its school supplies and also supplying a variety of fruit for the children to enjoy. We hope the fruit baskets helped the children to maintain their five-a-day and that the supplies helped lessen the financial burden of the new school year.”

We boost foodbank’s sustainability with tote bag donation
We donated 150 reusable tote bags to Codicote Foodbank to help improve its sustainability practices when handing out food to Codicote residents.
Our donation is part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community surrounding our Codicote developments, The Heath and The Vale.
With our donation, those who use the foodbank will now be given the reusable tote bags to carry their food in, which they can keep and bring back in future visits.
Kerry Bryant, Lead Volunteer at Codicote Foodbank, said: “A huge thank you to Taylor Wimpey from the Codicote Foodbank team for the kindly-donated huge number of tote bags, which were perfect for our Christmas goodie bags. In a bid to become more sustainable our aim was to reduce the number of single use carrier bags and encourage those visiting to bring their own, so it will be nice to provide a quality shopping bag instead. Everyone who visited our Christmas drop in session was gifted one.”

As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities local to our developments, we donated £1,000 to Codicote Tennis Club, a longstanding sports club within the Codicote community located just a short walk from The Vale.Codicote Tennis Club welcomes players of all ages, and provides an active lifestyle for families, youth, and adult players alike. With the £1,000 donation, the club will be able to enhance its facilities and improve the privacy netting around the courts, enhancing the experience for players and creating a more enjoyable, private environment for everyone using the facilities.

We Support Sustainability at Goatfest 2024
We encouraged sustainability and reduced plastic waste as Goatfest’s Recyclable Cups Sponsor this year.
Now in its 15th year, the three-day festival took place from 23rd to 25th August and featured non-stop live music including performances from headliners Fuse ODG, Tunde of Lighthouse Family, star of The Greatest Showman, Keala Settle, and more. On top of this, there were a variety of activities for festival attendees to take part in, including a children’s cinema showing, dance workshop and a morning yoga session for the campers and glampers.
Goatfest saw a footfall of over 2,500 people this year. Our sponsorship was part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the Codicote community and was used to fund the festival’s recyclable cups.
Rowan Patel, Founder of Goatfest said: “As a self-funded grassroots event, the support received from Taylor Wimpey was invaluable for this year’s event. Sustainability is a big priority for us and for Taylor Wimpey to get behind this issue and support our reusable cup initiative is a real positive. The opportunity also allowed us to raise additional money for our chosen Charity Partner, Willow Foundation, by asking for a £1 donation from customers per cup, with all proceeds being given directly to the charity. We’re hoping our relationship with Taylor Wimpey will continue for many years to come as we continue to grow Goatfest.”
