The Master Plan

We want to create a thriving new community in Coventry. Our plans for Allard Way are in line with the approved outline planning permission granted by Coventry City Council.
The development will provide a mix of  2, 3, 4 & 5 bedroom high quality homes, 40% of which will be affordable housing, with each home having a dedicated parking space and garden. The site includes greenspaces around the perimeter of the site as well as green open spaces within the development. As a popular area located a short distance from Coventry, schools and local amenities will be a short distance from the development.

Economic benefits

We want to deliver new homes and facilities that positively integrate with and enhance the local community.

Green open spaces

A large area of public open space will be provided on the development, primarily adjacent to the northern and eastern boundaries. There will also be a play area in the centre of the site.

Community benefits features

History of the site

Prior to development, the site was arable farmland.

Connectivity

Before we start designing a new scheme, we complete an assessment of the site and surrounding area as they are now. We record those features that will need to be considered in our design approach.

The main access point to Allard Way will be on Allard Way.

Drainage

A flood risk assessment (FRA) and Surface Water Drainage Strategy were put together as part of the Outline Approval to ensure that an appropriate drainage strategy is put in place.

Ecology

A Construction Ecological Management Plan and a Landscape and Ecology Management Plan have been developed to maximise the protection of the species and habitats identified at the site.
