Learn how we intend to bring forward proposals for a residential development off Wilsons Lane, in Coventry.

We are responsible for building the 73 new residential dwellings on land off Wilsons Lane in Coventry, following the approval of outline planning permission in March 2023. 

We are currently in the process of preparing a reserved matters application, which will focus on the delivery of 1-5 bedroom homes, 25% of which will be affordable. In line with planning regulations, our reserved matters planning application will only deal with the finer details of the development, covering the site's appearance, landscaping and layout.

Once complete, the development will provide usable green open space, a Local Area of Play and a new cycle path that will connect the site to the existing cycle path network. 

Through the delivery of new homes on this development, we will contribute over £1m to support public healthcare services, off site open space and sports and recreation facilities, as well as cycleways, public transport, education services and Highway Authority motorway improvement projects.

Those living in the new community will benefit from green open space, a Local Area of Play for young children and easy access to the local road networks. 

Even though the principles of development have already been established at the outline planning stage, it is important to us that we listen and hear your views on what this site looks like.
