Learn about our plans for an exciting new community in Warsash
Under our proposals, we will provide up to eighty-five 1 & 2 bedroom apartments and 2, 3 & 4 bedroom new homes, perfect for young couples and families – with 40% to be affordable housing and 60% to be sold on the private market.
The site is located west of Locks Heath approximately 2.5km south-west of Junction 9 of the M27 on the route of Brook Lane between Locks Heath and Warsash.
Local shopping centres include Barnes Lanes Parade and Locks Heath District Centre to the West. The X5 bus service provides connections with Gosport, Fareham and Southampton. The nearest railway station is at Swanwick.
Being such a popular family location, there are a number of Primary and Secondary schools in the area plus school services also run to Henry Court and Peter Symonds colleges.
The architecture of the site is based on the local area and the introduction of new trees and on-plot planting will create a well landscaped public realm and distinctive sense of place.
The illustrative masterplan provides 0.38ha of green space which includes Public Opens Space and ecological buffers.
Our proposals for Bramley Park
The master plan
We want to create a thriving new community in Warsash. Our plans for Bramley Park are in line with the approved outline planning permission granted by Fareham Borough Council in May 2018.
Bramley Park is allocated for residential development in Fareham Borough Council’s Neighbourhood Plan and our proposals meet the objectives that the plan sets out. The development will provide a mix of 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom high quality homes, with 40% of which will be affordable housing, and each of the homes will have a dedicated parking space and garden.
Streetscenes
Homes proposed
Our proposals for private housing include 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes and 2 bedroom coach houses.
The majority of the houses will be two storey, with a mix of detached, semi detached and terraced designs. There will be three apartment blocks in the centre of the site all of which are three storeys high.

Connectivity
We understand that a new development will have an impact on the existing community and we have carefully considered this as we have developed our proposals.
The main road into Bramley Park will be from Brook Lane.
A transport assessment was completed as part of the process to gain outline planning approval. This confirms that the road network surrounding the proposed development has sufficient capacity to accommodate the traffic that will be generated.
The development provides open space to the east of the site with informal paths to walk through this area and a possible pedestrian connection to any further development plans, should they come forward in the future.

We would like to thank everyone who gave us their feedback during the consultation period for our reserved matters planning application which has now been submitted to Fareham Borough Council.
