With new homes proving popular at our development in Hamilton, we are delighted to announce a second donation of £575 to Baby Bank Scotland. This contribution is part of our ongoing commitment to donate £25 for each new home sold and legally completed within the development's first phase of 163 new homes.
This latest donation brings the total amount donated to Baby Bank Scotland to £850. The funds will directly support the vital work that Baby Bank Scotland provides locally from its hub at Allanshaw Industrial Estate in Hamilton. Baby Bank Scotland aims to support babies and children living in poverty by appealing to the local community to donate essential items.
Jillian Thompson, Manager and Trustee for Baby Bank Scotland, expressed her gratitude: “We are extremely grateful for the continued support from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland. This second donation of £575 will help us to support young families in need. I would like to extend a huge thank you on behalf of everyone who uses our services in Hamilton and the surrounding areas.”
Audrey Ross, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, commented: “We are proud to continue our support for Baby Bank Scotland with this second donation. Our partnership with this incredible local charity strengthens the bond between the new community at Oakwood Grove and the existing community of Hamilton. We are pleased to be able to contribute to such a worthy cause and look forward to seeing the positive impact of our donations.”
Our pledge to Baby Bank Scotland is one of many contributions we are making towards community facilities and infrastructure in the wider area.

At the launch of our Oakwood Grove development in Hamilton, we teamed up with Baby Bank Scotland to donate £25 for each new home sold and legally completed within the first phase of 163 new homes at the development.
Baby Bank Scotland aims to support babies and children who are living in poverty by appealing to the local community to donate baby and child essentials.
We donated the first tranche of £275 this month, and in total, a grand sum of £4,075 will be paid to Baby Bank Scotland as work at the development progresses. This initiative signals a long-term relationship, and the money will go directly to supporting the work that Baby Bank Scotland provides locally from its new hub located at Allanshaw Industrial Estate in Hamilton.
"We are extremely grateful for the support that we will receive from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, and we can’t thank them enough for this first donation. This money will be put to work to support young families living in poverty. On behalf of everyone who uses our services in Hamilton and across the local area, I would like to say a huge thank you."
