Learn about our plans for an exciting new community in Heartlands
We are working closely with local residents and West Lothian Council to develop plans for an existing new development parcel within the Heartlands Masterplan.
Our proposals include 168 homes including a range of 2, 3 & 4 bedroom detached and semi-detached properties and bungalows suiting a wide range of buyers.
Our development will benefit from existing community facilities, shops and schools which are available within walking distance within Whitburn town centre. We are also proposing footpath links connecting to the surrounding area.

Street scenes
Our homes have been designed with a mixture of white render and stone brickwork to be in keeping with the existing surroundings. The varied positioning of our homes will provide enhanced character and an easy place to find your way around.
The open space strategy will include new footpaths/cycle paths and will be designed in a way that is easy to use, safe and easily maintainable by the factor.
All streets have been designed to limit vehicle speeds to 20 mph or less for the safety of the community. The narrower roads discourages faster speeds by providing a shared surface of road and footpath.
Block paving has been introduced to differentiate streets with private parking areas.
Site Plan features
Connectivity
Our development is located close to the town centre of Whitburn which is easily accessible for residents on foot or bike. There is also a bus stop adjacent to the entrance to the development helping with connectivity into the locality and further afield by public transport.
For those traveling by car there will be a new road added to Longridge Road to connect the existing road to our new development.
Sustainability
With the closest town easily accessible and in walk distance, we will be adding in new footpaths and cycle paths to allow residents the opportunity to choose greener means of travel.
We are also providing EV chargers on a 1 in 6 basis, with some communal chargers for the terraced units.
Our approach features
Open space
Our development will be lined with attractive trees to the north west and benefit from green open space.
All areas of open space will be clearly defined and manged by a factor on behalf of the residents. The open space will include new footpaths and cycle paths, designed in a way that is easy to us and safe.
