Learn about our plans for an exciting new community in Collaton St Mary

Taylor Wimpey have now submitted our Reserved Matters application (ref P/2021/1180) for 73 homes at our forthcoming St Mary’s View site off Totnes Road in Collaton St Mary, with the application currently being considered by Torbay Council.

This follows on from the outline consent which was granted last year. The vehicular, pedestrian and construction points of access were all set as part of the outline permission. This application focuses on the detailed designs of the homes to be provided.

The scheme includes 30% open space, 22 new affordable homes, provision of 238 new trees, 70 bat & bird boxes, new community orchard, children’s play area, a reduction in downstream flood risk through the incorporation of Sustainable Urban Drainage within the site, as well a total Section 106 financial contribution package equating to £650,052.

About our proposals

Masterplan

We want to create a thriving new community in Collaton St Mary. 
The development will provide a mix of73 high quality homes with 2, 3 and 4 bedroom designs and over 30% of which will be affordable housing. Each of the homes will have a minimum of 2 car parking spaces, private garden and cycle parking can be incorporated within the rear gardens.

We will also provide a fully equipped children’s play area as well as landscaped open space for the benefit if existing and future residents.
