Taylor Wimpey is developing proposals for Land north of Jubilee Drive and Highgrove Crescent. Located to the north-east of Polegate, this site will offer new homes within walking distance of the town centre, open space with play areas and pathways as well as trim trails to nearby woodlands.
In June 2021, we submitted a planning application to Wealden District Council, and we are now consulting on some minor amendments to the scheme before commencing a planning appeal process.

The site has existing mature woodland and tree belts, which we shall seek to retain and enhance where possible.
Throughout the site will be green spaces dispersed between the homes, as well as new planting integrated within the development area.
Landscape & Character Landscape & CharacterWe will seek to protect and enhance the woodland within the scheme, in addition to the landscape to the northern boundary to maintain a strong wildlife corridor across the site.
Attenuation basins throughout the site shall offer a focal point for community amenity while providing for sustainable drainage.
There will be large informal open spaces for recreational use by those in the community.
