We have received outline planning permission for the principal of 600 new homes on the wider site at the Northfield View, Stowmarket. This will form the next phases of our Northfield View (Phase 1) development which is currently under construction. Our proposal for Northfield View

Overview

We have received outline planning permission for approximately 600 new homes, including a local centre, a sports pavilion, public open space and recreation facilities, at the Northfield View site off Brooke Way, Stowmarket.

It is envisaged that this development will form an extension of our existing Northfield View development (which lies to the north east and is currently under construction).

In addition, we have also received full planning permission for a main spine road, emergency access, drainage and attenuation, a pumping station and other utilities.

Our proposals have evolved through extensive discussions with Mid Suffolk District Council, Suffolk County Council and other key stakeholders, and is in line with the Chilton Leys Development Brief SPD, 2013.

About the site

The proposed site, which covers an area of 30.78 hectares (76 acres), is located off Brooke Way, directly to the west and southwest of the Phase 1 site. Chilton Leys Playing Field lies directly to the east of the site, providing a buffer between the existing Chilton Hall development and the proposed development.

Our proposals have been designed to form an extension of Northfield View. To view our Illustration of the proposed site layout, please click here.
