We are currently creating a new development and place to call home at Dolphingstone in Wallyford.
This new neighbourhood will consist of around 700 new homes, with a mix of two, three, four, and five-bedroom homes, perfect for a broad range of homebuyers including young couples, growing families, and downsizers alike. The development will also include 25% affordable homes, and it will contribute towards the provision of a proposed new secondary school and local transport improvements, including paths and cycle connections to Wallyford.

June 2024 | We are pleased to confirm that we have secured detailed planning consent from East Lothian Council for our first 137 two, three, four, and five-bedroom homes and nine two-bedroom affordable apartments at the development. This signals a key milestone in the delivery of our new neighbourhood of around 700 new homes in Dolphingstone. A programme of infrastructure and enabling works to facilitate the first new homes is already underway. |
October 2023 | We are pleased to confirm that we are preparing to start work on a significant programme of key infrastructure works as per our planning consent recently granted by East Lothian Council. Some initial preparatory works have now started. |

We have received detailed planning permission from East Lothian Council for the infrastructure works which form a key part of the delivery of the new Dolphingstone neighbourhood near Wallyford. This consent signals a significant step forward for the project and it will allow us to proceed with the significant earthworks, roads, drainage and SUDS infrastructure, including the formation of a new junction from the A199, that are required for to support this development. Pauline Mills, Land and Planning Director at Taylor Wimpey East Scotland said: “We are very pleased to be making good progress in the significant preparations that are required to deliver our vision for a new neighbourhood of around 800 homes at Dolphingstone. This planning consent for a programme of pre-construction infrastructure works will allow us to maintain that progress.” |
