We support popular Wixams Christmas event

The donation enabled the group to purchase a brand new Christmas tree as well as Christmas presents for the children who visited Santa in his grotto on the day, along with replacement of lights on the trees on the outside the shops on Brooklands Avenue. 

The popular event took place on Saturday 2nd December at Lakeview Village Hall in Wixams and attracted over 4000 Visitors on the day who enjoyed craft stalls, food stalls, fun fair rides, children’s entertainment, stilt walkers and the Christmas light switch-on. 

Nathan Sutters, chairperson of the Wixams Events Group, said: “Wixams Winter Wonderland was a fantastic success, with members of our community having a wonderfully festive time with family and friends. The event always does a great job of getting people into the spirit of Christmas! 

“We are really grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their help in supporting the event, and ensuring all the children took home something special.”
