Jason Stokes, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey South East, says: “We hope that by introducing beehives at many of our developments across the UK we can contribute to reversing the trend of a declining bee population. We would like to say a huge thank you to the 1st Hoo Guides for helping us to name the beehive at Church View and to Jessica for her winning suggestion.”

Christine Comfort, Leader of 1st Hoo Guides and Rangers, adds: “This was a fantastic activity for our guides and rangers to get involved in and everyone has learned a lot about the many benefits bees bring to our environment.  We’re really grateful to Taylor Wimpey for thinking of us and for their donation which will make such a difference in enabling us to replace some much needed equipment.”
