The proposed site is in a sustainable location to the east of Milton Keynes with easy access to J13 of the M1, and has now been identified as part of a potential location for future growth in Central Bedfordshire Council’s Draft Local Plan.
An outline planning application was submitted in October 2017, following consultation with the local community, parish councils, Central Bedfordshire Council and other key stakeholders.
The planning application proposes up to 650 new homes, ranging from one-bedroom apartments to larger family homes.
The village will include a local centre, providing business and retail opportunities alongside community and health facilities. The proposals also include a two‑form entry lower/primary school and extensive green infrastructure including areas for play and formal sports facilities.
