    We have submitted our reserved matters planning application to bring forward 179 new homes on land north of The Connections and east of the A339 in Newbury.


    The site benefits from outline permission for a mixed use scheme on 23.1ha of land.  Our reserved matters application is for the eastern parcel for 179 residential dwellings. There will be 108 private homes and 71 affordable homes on our development which will be a mixture of one to five bed.

    The site lies adjacent to a commercial area on the outskirts of Newbury. The 9.2ha site is accessed off The Connections from the A339. The development forms part of a wider site area with outline planning permission for 401 units.

    Our proposal includes:

    • 179 one to five bed homes of which 40% are affordable
    • Public open space
    • Local Area of Play and Locally Equipped Area of Play
    • An attenuation pond
    • Retention of all the existing site trees with the addition of new landscaping and further site wide landscaping. 

    Vehicular access is proposed from The Connections. Pedestrian/cycle access is proposed under the underpass linking the wider developments together.
