    Overview

Taylor Wimpey is currently preparing a reserved matters planning application for a new residential development of up to 183 homes on land at Uplands Farm, Rattle Road, Stone Cross.

Wealden District Council granted outline planning permission for up to 183 homes on the site in April 2016, and we are now putting together the detailed reserved matters application.

Our proposal is for a mix of one to five-bedroom properties, of which 35% would be affordable. Our plans also include a football pitch for community use, play areas and public open space.

We held a public exhibition on our proposals at St Luke’s Parish Centre on Thursday 12th July between 3pm and 8pm. The consultation boards that were displayed at the public exhibition can be downloaded here.

The consultation period closed on Thursday 19th July 2018. All feedback will be taken into consideration as we finalise the proposals for our scheme and before we submit a reserved matters planning application to Wealden District Council.
