Outline planning permission for the wider Ridgewood Farm scheme was granted by Wealden District Council in March 2016.

Once complete, Ridgewood Farm will comprise:

    • Approximately 1,000 homes (including a proportion of affordable housing)
    • A new primary school
    • An early years nursery
    • Areas of public open space
    • Children’s play areas
    • Health and leisure facilities
    • Community facilities
    • Retail units

In order to give local residents and stakeholders the opportunity to find out more about our emerging proposals for Phases 1A and 1B, we held a public exhibition at The Uckfield Club, Bell Lane, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 1QL, between 3pm-8pm on Tuesday 14th March 2017.

By coming along to our consultation, visitors were able to view our emerging proposals, speak to experts from our project team, ask questions and provide us with their feedback on the scheme.

The exhibition boards displayed at the event can be viewed by clicking here.

The comments we received during the public consultation period from local residents and stakeholders helped us to refine our emerging plans before we finalised and submitted a planning application to Wealden District Council, the local authority.

You can view our planning application by visiting Wealden District Council's website and entering the reference number WD/2017/1368/MRM into the application search box.
