Taylor Wimpey is preparing a planning application for approximately 90 new homes on land east of Canon Pyon Road, Hereford.

    Overview

    As shown on the enclosed sketch site layout the development will comprise construction of 2.65ha of housing, which equates to approximately 90 dwellings (assumed 34 dwellings per hectare) and associated access from Canon Pyon Road. A network of secondary and tertiary streets will be created to ensure a legible and permeable neighbourhood.  In addition to the new homes, the proposal includes a locally equipped area of play (LEAP), along with public open space giving a total site area of 3.68ha.

    We held a public consultation on Thursday 12th October, to give local people the chance to view the scheme and respond to the proposals. The exhibition boards from the event are available to view by clicking here:

    Land east of Canon Pyon Road consists of a single field parcel amounting to 3.68 hectares in area which fronts onto the A4110 Canon Pyon Road and extends to the rear of frontage dwellings to the north. To the south the site is bounded by the rear of properties along the A4103 Roman Road.
