  • About the site

    About the site

The proposed development site used to serve as Wyevale Garden Centre but has been allocated for development in North Hertfordshire District Council’s emerging Local Plan.

The proposed allocation acknowledges the site’s close proximity to Codicote village centre and its associated local facilities and amenities. Additional leisure facilities are available in the nearby town of Welwyn Garden City, as are railway services.

A public exhibition was held on Wednesday 13th March 2019 to give local residents and stakeholders the opportunity to view and comment on our proposals before a detailed planning application is submitted to North Hertfordshire District Council later this year. The consultation boards from the event can be downloaded here.
