Land off Stoke Road, Hoo

Stoke Road - Hoo - Rochester - Kent - ME3 9BJ

We have submitted a reserved matters planning application for a new residential development of up to 127 homes on land south of Stoke Road, Hoo St Werburgh.

  • Overview

    Overview

We have submitted a reserved matters planning application for a new residential development of up to 127 homes in Hoo St Werburgh.

The site is to the south of Stoke Road and west of the existing footpath that links Stoke Road with Saxon Shore Way. Medway Council granted outline planning permission for up to 127 homes on the site in February 2017, and we have now submitted a detailed reserved matters application to the council.

Our proposal is for a mix of one to four-bedroom properties, of which 25% would be affordable. We would also create a green space to the south with new footpath routes, a play area and new habitat areas.

We held a public exhibition on our proposals at Hoo Village Hall, Pottery Road, Hoo, ME3 9BS on Wednesday 24th January 2018 between 3pm to 7.30pm.

A copy of the boards displayed at the exhibition can be downloaded here.

The consultation period closed on Sunday 4th February 2018. The feedback we received helped us to influence the details of the final scheme before a reserved matters application was submitted to Medway Council on Wednesday 28th February 2018.
