    This web page gives you the chance to find out more about our proposals for land at Phase 4c, Millbrook Park, Mill Hill.

    Outline planning permission for the overall development at Millbrook Park was received in 2011. Taylor Wimpey has recently purchased the land known as Phase 4c and is currently drawing up detailed proposals for a residential scheme of 89 new homes on this site, with a view to submitting a planning application to Barnet Council in Autumn 2015.

    We are holding a drop-in session for nearby residents to review our proposals in greater detail in the Blue Room at Finchley Golf Club on Tuesday 15th September 2015 between 4.30pm and 8.30pm. The event will give residents an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments.

  • The development site

    Phase 4c is located on the north-east edge of the Millbrook Park site, and occupies a sloping site which is nestled between residential properties to the west (Phase 4a of Millbrook Park) and also to the east.

    The development is bordered on the northern edge by Partingdale Lane, with the Totteridge greenbelt beyond this northern boundary.

    Meanwhile, the south-western boundary of Phase 4c fronts a significant public open space known as the Panoramic Park, which benefits from spectacular views over London.

  • The parameters for our proposals

    Development within Millbrook Park is guided by a set of approved Parameters Plans and a detailed Design Code. Collectively these set out the type, location, height and appearance of buildings, roads and spaces. Our task is to work within these parameters to deliver an extremely high quality scheme that is architecturally attractive, usable and in keeping with the character of the surrounding area.  

    Key elements of our development are as follows:

    • 89 new homes, comprising 36 apartments and 53 houses
    • 12 affordable units
    • Four-storey apartments and townhouses in the southern part of the site (focussed around the Panoramic Park)
    • Three-storey family houses in the northern part of the site (closest to the Green Belt edge)

  • Local contributions

    The wider Millbrook Park Outline Planning Permission secures a number of financial contributions to enhance new and existing local services and facilities. Taylor Wimpey is required to pay a proportionate amount of these financial contributions when development of Phase 4C begins.
