    Following our public exhibition in December 2019, we are pleased to announce that we submitted a planning application to Hillingdon Council in Feb 2020 for the redevelopment of land at 217 High Street, Yiewsley UB7 7GN (a 1.2 hectare vacant brownfield site).

    At Taylor Wimpey, we are dedicated to developing attractive, high-quality homes and communities for all to enjoy with 233 apartments, including 79 affordable homes proposed. Our proposals also include a brand new Health Facility dedicated to serving the needs of the local community, which is fully supported by NHS Hillingdon CCG.

    OUR DEVELOPMENT SITE

    Our proposals will deliver much-needed improvements to existing public realm amenities, improve biodiversity and greening, promote local and sustainable methods of travel and enhance safety for the public when commuting in and around the local area.

    The vision for our site at 217 High Street is to deliver:

    • A brand new Health Facility dedicated to serving the needs of the local community
    • 233 much-needed homes including 79 affordable homes
    • Improved cycle and pedestrian links through the site and to the canal
    • Increased biodiversity and greening

    COMMUNITY

    Through detailed discussions with NHS Hillingdon CCG, it has been identified that the existing community and growing population would benefit from additional community services, specifically, a brand-new centralised Health Facility that would be situated within a suitable and accessible location. This has been incorporated into our proposals

    West Drayton and Hayes are located within an Opportunity Area expected to deliver over 10,000 new homes. Given the ideal location of the site near a town centre and along a main road, this development is a great opportunity to provide a brand-new Health Facility dedicated to serving the needs of the local community.
