This development is being promoted by Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire. The site is currently agricultural and woodland bounded by Alne Road to the North with an existing housing both opposite and to the East. Agricultural land bounds the South Western edges.

Easingwold is a picturesque Georgian market town in the heart of North Yorkshire, easily accessible from the A19 and only a short journey by car or bus to the historic city of York. The town is home to a traditional, cobbled market square and a central green. The marketplace is home to a weekly open air market on Fridays and also hosts a farmers’ market on the third Wednesday of every month. Easingwold is also home to a host of independent retailers – from family-run newsagents, mini supermarkets, butchers and bakers, to restaurants, cafés, boutiques and galleries. Long Street, with its shops and cafes, is linked by Chapel Street to the market square.
