Further to the granting of outline planning consent, a reserved matters planning application is being prepared to deal with the outstanding matters. A leaflet drop is taking place informing all nearby residents, a copy of which can be found here.
The planning appeal has been allowed and the site has therefore been granted outline planning consent.
We have been informed that a decision on the Appeal is targeted for December 2015.
The planning application was refused by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council Regulatory Committee. Taylor Wimpey has Appealed the decision to the Planning Inspectorate.
The planning application is to be considered by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council Regulatory Committee on the 8th January 2015 at Redcar and Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart, Ridley Street, Redcar, TS10 1TD.
An outline application has now been submitted to Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council with all matters reserved save for means of access from Marske Road.
Taylor Wimpey are considering submitting an Outline Planning Application to Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council for the development of up to 130 new homes on the land to the South of Marske Road. A pre-application community consultation is currently being carried out by Taylor Wimpey.
The consultation provides the community an opportunity to comment on, and shape, the proposals prior to the submission of a formal planning application to Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council. Copies of the Consultation Leaflet and Site Notice which have been circulated in the vicinity of the site are set out below.
A Public Consultation Event is to be held at Saltburn Leisure Centre, Marske Mill Lane, Saltburn-By-The-Sea between 3:00pm and 7:00pm on Thursday 11th September 2014. Staff of Taylor Wimpey, and their consultants, will be in attendance to discuss the proposals.
