Both Cragside and Synclen Avenue have been designed to create a secure, family environment where off-street parking has been essential to create pedestrian led areas around the site.

As per the draft Northumberland core strategy, Taylor Wimpey has provided at least 30% affordable housing across the two developments.  Cragside will consist of the private homes while Synclen Avenue will feature the affordable homes giving a total of 33% of affordable homes being provided.

Following comments made during the consultation period, changes have been made to our proposals to try to satisfy both the Parish Council and local residents.  The changes include :

Driveways have been extended to provide additional visitor parking

Stone has been introduced to four properties at the Cragside site

Bungalows have now been added to the Cragside scheme
