    We are currently preparing an outline planning application for a new residential development on land south of Hollygate Lane, Cotgrave.  

     

    The site sits to the immediate northeast of the town, lying between Hollygate Lane and Colston Gate.

    About the site

    The site extends to 10.6 acres, and is located to the northeast of the town of Cotgrave, Nottinghamshire and falls within the jurisdiction of Rushcliffe Borough Council.  It is a draft allocation in the ‘Rushcliffe Borough Council Local Plan Part 2: Land and Planning Policies’ (Policy 2.2), which proposes approximately 190 new homes on Taylor Wimpey’s land and the land to either side of it.  Taylor Wimpey is working with the promoter and developer responsible for the adjoining land to ensure that the three land interests are well connected and complement each other from a planning perspective.

     

    Immediately south of the site is existing residential development along Colston Gate.

     

    To the north of the site, on the opposite side of Hollygate Lane, is situated High Hazles Road which contains a mixture of small industrial units.

     

    Key facilities within Cotgrave are only a short walk from the site.  Examples such as Cotgrave Shopping Centre, Cotgrave Leisure Centre and Cotgrave Country Park can all be reached within a 10-15 minute walk.
