Land off Stanton Road - Shifnal - Shropshire
Taylor Wimpey are working jointly with Gallagher Estates and in August 2014, secured a resolution to grant planning permission subject to the completion of a S106 agreement.

We are working in partnership with Gallagher Estates in respect of the land at Stanton Road for residential development including a 60 bed extra care facility.
The proposed development is located off, and accessed from, Stanton Road in Shifnal. Shropshire Council have identified the site as a preferred option.
The proposed development is Flood Zone 1 and not located in an area of high flood risk and is therefore suitable for new development. Drainage for the site will be designed to ensure that it does not increase the risk of flooding to the site and neighbouring areas, and to ensure that the rate of surface water run-off is no greater than current levels. Surface water drainage and sewage disposal will meet the requirements of the Environment Agency.
A full range of ecology surveys have been carried out, including surveys for bats and great crested newts. A detailed tree survey will also be conducted to ensure that high quality trees are retained, while an archaeological assessment will identify any potential areas of interest.

In addition to a programme of potential highways improvements in the Shifnal area, Taylor Wimpey will provide a number of contributions towards the local community as part of the proposed development. Details of these contributions will be agreed with the relevant local authorities at a later stage, but will include:
