    Land at Tamworth Road

    We are proposing to submit a planning application for approximately 150 new homes on land at Tamworth Road to North Warwickshire Council in the near future.

    Our proposed scheme seeks to help North Warwickshire meet its local housing need and includes a mix of housing types, including affordable housing, a children’s play area and improved connectivity with the provision of cyclepaths and footpaths.

    As a considerate and responsible developer, we strive to ensure that local people, businesses and community groups are kept fully informed of our proposals – and give them every opportunity to comment on our plans so we can respond positively to local views.

    We are therefore inviting local residents to view our proposals and tell us what they think before we finalise our plans. 

    Our public consultation event was held on Wednesday 18th October at North Warwickshire Recreational Centre, Hermitage Hill, Tamworth Road. The exhibition boards used at the event are available to view by clicking here.

    Our proposed development site comprises 6.4 hectares of land and is located to the south of Tamworth Road and to the immediate west of the M42 motorway.

    Its location means that it benefits from excellent road links via the A5, Tamworth Road and the M42, along with access to existing bus routes and nearby train links with Polesworth.

    Community benefits

    As well as providing affordable housing, we will make financial contributions to key local services where there is a requirement generated from this development. These figures come from detailed discussions with the local authority and service providers and could include:

    • Drainage/service improvements
    • Education places
    • Open space improvements
    • Cycle and footpath improvements
    • Children's play area to the west of the site, also accessible to the existing residential area.
