Land off Campden Road
We are currently drawing up proposals for a new development of 95 homes, on land to the south of Campden Road in Shipston-on-Stour.
The parcel of land already benefits from outline planning permission for residential development, with the proposals gaining outline planning consent in April 2016. A Section 106 agreement has been completed for the site to deliver community benefits locally.
We are now preparing to submit a ‘reserved matters’ planning application for our proposed development, which will seek to deal with detailed issues which have not already been approved at outline stage, such as property design, layout and landscaping.
Under our proposals, 35% of the new homes on the site will be provided as affordable housing, to be administered by a council-approved housing association for local people in housing need.
In order to allow local people to find out more about our emerging proposals, we held a public exhibition at Townsend Hall, 52 Sheep Street, Shipston-on-Stour, CV36 4AE, on Monday 24th October 2016 from 3pm to 7pm.
By coming along to our consultation, visitors were able to view our emerging proposals, speak to experts from our project team, ask questions and provide us with their feedback on the scheme.

The comments we received from local residents during the public constultation period - which ran until Monday 7 November 2016 - will help us to refine our emerging plans before we finalise and submit a reserved matters planning application to Stratford-on-Avon District Council in due course.
