Our Planning Permission in Principle has been secured from Angus Council for our land off the A92 in Monfieth, and a detailed planning has been approved for 330 new homes including 25% affordable homes.
Situated off Grange Road and Victoria Road this development aims to deliver a wide mix of two, three, four and five bedroom family homes to make sure that it will appeal to a wide range of buyers, and it will represent a significant investment in the local area.
As well as an impressive choice of ten styles of new homes from our Scotland 2 range of new homes, this development will also introduce a range of two and three bedroom detached bungalows – making sure The Grange will appeal to a wide range of buyers.
To complement the impressive range of new homes, the overall plans for The Grange also include the creation of a new linear parkland space that will provide improved pedestrian and cycle links to the Angus Gateway Centre, as well as a large play area. There are also established green open spaces within the development that will be retained.
As part of the Planning Permission in Principle for the land at The Grange in Monifieth, we will make a significant contribution of almost £3.9 million towards local education and community facilities in the area, reinforcing the positive benefits that developments like this can have on their local community.
We are continuing to work on a number of technical matters, including the provision of affordable homes, with the Local Authority. We will keep the local community informed of our progress and our plans to start on-site mid-2017.
