  • About the site

    About the site

In partnership with Helensburgh Golf Club, we are proposing to create a development of around 300 new homes which will maximise the views over the Clyde estuary, while also integrating with East Abercromby Street and Sannox Place to the east, in addition to Old Luss Road which runs north to south.

As part of the overall development, a new clubhouse will be built and the existing clubhouse building will be demolished.  This is a complex site to consider for development and surveys will be required of existing trees, ecology and any other considerations in conjunction with the pre-application process, to inform the design proposals prior to the submission of the planning application.

As well as an impressive mix of new homes, the golf course itself will be remodelled to create an attractive and accessible long and short course for golfers to enjoy.  The popular walking and cycling route along Old Luss Road will be retained providing a sustainable link between the existing local community, the proposed development and the land to the north.
