    About the site

    The proposed development area is a greenfield site that lies to the south eastern edge of Edinburgh.  It is located on a key arterial route into the city and out to the city bypass.  It is also well located to benefit from local amenities, greenspace and transport connections.

    The site lies adjacent to the protected landscape of the Drum Estate.  The main access into the site will be from Candlemaker’s Park.

    We are proposing to deliver 149 high-quality detached, semi-detached, terraced properties and apartments including 25% of the homes to be made available for affordable housing. We hope to be able to progress with this development later in 2017.

    The proposed development will provide much needed affordable housing for the area and it will help to support the continued viability of local retail, services and other businesses.  Financial contributions will also be made towards local education capacity and transport improvements.
