    About the site

    The development area is a greenfield site that lies to the south eastern edge of Edinburgh.  It is located on a key arterial route into the city and out to the city bypass.  It is also well located to benefit from local amenities, greenspace and transport connections.

    The site lies adjacent to the protected landscape of the Drum Estate.  The main access into the site will be from Candlemaker’s Park.

    We can confirm that pre-construction and enabling work will start at the development on 11 December 2017.
    Our initial programme of work will include tree felling, tree stump removal and general site clearance.  Whilst completing this work we do anticipate there will be some noise disturbance, and there is likely to be an increased level of traffic in the immediate vicinity of the development.
     
    Please be assured that we will aim to keep any inconvenience to a minimum, and the immediate local access roads to the development will be cleaned regularly throughout the process.
