Land off Neilston Road - Neilston - East Renfrewshire

We have submitted a planning application for a mix of two, three and four bedroom family homes at land off Neilston Road, Neilston.

  • Overview

We have submitted a detailed planning application to East Renfrewshire Council for the provision of 149 new homes through the development of land off Neilston Road, Neilston.

As part of the Planning Permission in Principle a Section 75 Planning Agreement was entered into with the council. Development of this site will deliver new affordable housing as well as further investment in local education and community facilities.

  • About the site

    About the site

The 15 acre site is identified for housing in the Local Development Plan and Planning Permission in Principle was granted in March 2016.

Set in a rural and mature countryside setting on the outskirts of Neilston off the A736 Lochlibo Road and within easy walking distance of the local amenities on Main Street in Neilston, the proposed development aims to maximise its setting with the provision of tree-lined streets and pedestrian routes to the protected urban greenspace to the west of the site.
