We currently own 28 acres of land at Harvieston, which has been allocated for housing development. We have been granted planning permission for 211 homes by Midlothian Council.
We will build a choice of new homes to appeal to a wide range of buyers ranging from two bedroom apartments to five bedroom detached family homes, and there will be a provision of 21 affordable homes.
As part of the Section 75 Agreement that forms part of the planning permission, we are making contributions to a value of £2.9 million that includes investment in education, town centre improvements and community facilities in Gorebridge. There will also be major areas of landscaped open space and structural planting which reinforces the positive benefits that developments like this can have on its local community.
