  • What's proposed

    What's Proposed?

The proposed development in Barassie near Troon aims to deliver a range of three, four and five bedroom homes in a variety of styles and sizes to appeal to a wide range of customers. Taylor Wimpey aims to deliver 226 new homes with Lynch Homes providing 64.

As part of the master plan vision for the development careful consideration has been given to the exterior design and feel of the homes to create a sense of character at prominent key locations. This will see dual front homes and feature plots adding to the overall charm, appeal and sense of place within the development.

Set in a rural and mature countryside setting, the proposed development aims to maximise its setting with the provision of two village greens to offer impressive open green spaces with equipped informal play areas for the enjoyment of the local community. The proposed development also aims to deliver impressive connectivity throughout with a good network of footpaths, cycle routes and woodland walks that will maximise its tranquil setting.

Sustainable travel and connectivity sit at the heart of the vision for the proposed development. There will be good road links through the various parcels of the development that will also incorporate a local bus route to the rest of the local area, whilst the nearby train station at Barassie is within walking distance of the proposed development.
