Benthall Farm

Benthall Farm - East Kilbride - South Lanarkshire

At Benthall Farm we plan to develop a range of three and four bedroom family homes, as well as provide areas of open space and landscaping.

  • Overview

We control land at Shields Road which is part of Benthall Farm, and our site is located adjacent to the west of Auldhouse Road just off Greenhills Road, East Kilbride. The site, which extends to 61 acres in total, is allocated for residential development in the South Lanarkshire Local Development Plan and detailed planning consent has been granted.

  • About the site

Within the overall masterplan vision for the development we will deliver a mixture of three and four bedroom family homes, as well as provide open space, an equipped play area, landscaping and affordable homes. Our Section 75 obligations will see us making contributions towards education, community facilities and the upgrading of off-site road infrastructure.

    Winter 2016

We’re delighted to confirm that we have secured detailed planning consent to deliver 486 three bedroom semi-detached, as well as three and four bedroom detached new homes on our Benthall Farm development near East Kilbride. An area of the site has also been set aside for South Lanarkshire Council to provide up to 62 affordable homes.

A programme of significant pre-construction works is due to start on-site in early 2017. It is anticipated that work on the range of three and four bedroom family homes will begin in the spring of next year, with the first new homes targeted to go on sale in summer 2017.
