    About the site

This site will continue our presence within the masterplan for the delivery of 191 new homes. Instant access to the M8 connects to Scotland’s main arterial routes and also links to the M74 for ease into North England. Additionally, the new Armadale railway station is a 10 minutes drive from the site, providing access to the East Coast mainline. The Airdrie-Bathgate line has now been upgraded, linking Edinburgh to Glasgow.

  • Community

    Community benefits

As part of the masterplan approvals there are significant levels of developer contributions that have secured financial contributions to the town centre, public transport and education facilities, as well as the delivery of a new motorway junction (4a) on the M8 between Edinburgh and Glasgow.   The masterplan also has plans for a neighbourhood centre which is likely to include retail and community facilities, all of which will provide economic benefit to Heartlands.
